For the second time in two years, Social Media Camp co-founder and bWEST CEO, Chris Burdge will be speaking at the 2013 State of the Island Economic Summit, hosted by the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance. Chris’ presentation is part of panel on “Twitter Troubles, Facebook Fiascos and Social Media Meltdowns – Handling Bad (Cyber) Press.” sponsored by Blackberry Creative. The Summit takes place October 29 & 30, 2013 at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.

Co-panelists include Globe & Mail journalist, Gary Mason and ebusiness tutor Garland Coulson and will be full of interesting stories, case studies and practical advice on how to mitigate the risk of falling prey to your own cyber meltdown.
