2010 was a very good year. I was born in the year of the Tiger so maybe that had something to do with it.

Well, ’tis the season’, and here @ bWEST we’re filled with the spirit of the season and gratitude for another awesome year full of wonderful clients, mostly… 😉 

The last few weeks have been pretty hectic with Social Media Camp happening which seemed to have as many things needing to be done after the camp as before, who knew.  

 …and other interesting anecdotes. 

I lived in Tokyo for almost eight years, from 1991 – 1998. It’s actually where I got my start in marketing, first in magazines (Japan International Journal) then interactive marketing for Cove-Ito Advertising. In the last 12 years since returning to Canada I’ve been back a couple of times. 

We’re all familiar with the story about the "pebble in my shoe". It’s in there. Sometimes you notice it, sometimes you don’t. It doesn’t really bother you enough to make you stop and remove it. 

I realized recently that I have a few "pebbles in my shoe" and have decided to blog about them. Pebbles currently residing in my shoe include, but are not limited to: 

It probably sounds funny and is somewhat hard to believe, but indeed we started bWEST Interactive on July 1, 2009 (Canada Day), exactly one year ago.  

bWEST is growing and we’re looking for a part-time Social Media Coordinator to manage, implement and execute online marketing, social media outreach and content development as well as provide biz dev and administrative support.
