Why Do You Need to Migrate to GA4 Now?
Google is sunsetting Universal Analytics and replacing it with Google Analytics 4 on July 1, 2023. GA4 is the next generation of Google Analytics and it’s jam-packed with new features and possibilities. We encourage you to make the switch to GA4 as soon as possible.
One thing to understand from the outset is that GA4 doesn’t care about your historical data. It won’t import past data at all, nor can you access historical data through it. GA4 will begin collecting data from the moment it is set up and you’ll have access to that information only.

- Create GA4 property in Google Analytics Admin panel
- Connect Universal GA with new GA4 property
- Build out your standard set of reports and dashboards
- Connect GA4 with Google Tag Manager
- Create GA4 Tag to be loaded on all pages
- Create each goal separately inside GTM and connect it to GA4 property
- Test goals are firing correctly
- Connect GA4 with Google Tag Manager
- Configure dynamic variables for each piece of information parsed from the data layer
- Set up events to be triggered after successful purchase
- Make live transaction and test process
How Much Does It Cost?
Standard config costs start from $290 (this includes 2 goal/event migrations). Each additional goal/event that needs to be migrated and set up costs $55. We charge an additional $290 for migration and setup of e-commerce tracking and reporting.
