This is our final social media success story of 2009, and a great one it is.
I recently met Teri Conrad on Twitter while doing research on a social media strategy for a local realtor. Teri is an avid tweeter with over 5,000 tweets and almost 2,000 followers.
Interesting survey of local business leaders conducted by Veritas Communications at the end of 2008 outlines projections for 2009. I’d say the numbers were pretty accurate, although the line between Social Media and Public Relations has become very blurred.
I keep close tabs on public sentiment around all things Facebook and particularly privacy. As you may know Facebook had a bit of a false start about 6-months ago when they released their Terms of Service (TOS) to an uproar of criticism and outrage. Facebook quickly retreated and decided to solicit and consider some user feedback before revising the TOS again.
I don’t often write about SEO as there are companies and people better equipped to do so.
However, in working with a local client in the landscaping business to develop their Social Media Marketing plan, I came across something worthwhile in using Google Insights. If you haven’t checked it our before I highly recommend you do.
