13.5 UNpredictions for The Year of The Monkey

Unpredictions 2016As the curtain slowly closes on another year, the requisite “Predictions for 2016” posts are popping up faster than Christmas trees. Check it out, I found “About 711,000 results in (0.33 seconds).”

Not one for wanting to be left out, I thought I would add to the collection – with a twist of course.  So here are my unpredicitons for 2016 in no particular order, except for the first one:

  1. The sun will come up on January 1st. I’ll roll out of bed and think to myself, it’s gonna be a great year! And I’ll be right.
  2. I will make and break a resolution that has something to do with exercise – see 2014
  3. A few new social networks will appear on the scene that are sure to knock Facebook off the podium, and I won’t join any of them. I’m looking at you Ello 🙂
  4. Lots of hard work will take place.
  5. At least one, probably two new people will join the bWEST team (they may or may not be named Chris).
  6. Oil prices will drop and gas prices will rise.
  7. Amazing things will happen! Hey did anyone really expect Justin to win a majority?
  8. I’ll write a few more blog posts than I did in 2015 – that shouldn’t be too hard.
  9. The comments on Facebook (damn that’s twice already) will get worse and I will ignore them even more than last year.
  10. We will launch a beautifully redesigned bWEST website that doesn’t use the popular long scrolling theme you see everywhere.
  11. Content and story telling will maintain its “king” status.
  12. Coffee. Scratch that. Really good coffee, will be consumed in copious amounts…
  13. We will have the privilege of working with a bunch of great people (aka clients) and we’ll have some fun helping them grow their businesses.
  14. Yikes, I almost posted this with 13 unpredictions, which could have been disastrous.

So there you have it – my unpredictions for 2016 . Bwest wishes from all of us here for whatever you have planned for 2016. Don’t be afraid to drop us a note below, we love hearing from you.
